The Story of Very Veggie
Very Veggie, a Recipe Rooted in Family Tradition
After the Covid pandemic and encountering several economic setbacks, we made the decision to commercialize a beloved family recipe that would cater to the growing demand for healthy veggie food options.
Drawing upon the medical expertise of one of our co-founders, we embarked on an innovative journey in developing canned foods that preserve their nutritional properties, ensuring a product abundant in vitamins, antioxidants, and minerals; aiming to prioritize health by using BPA-free packaging.
After a year of dedicated work, we made our market debut in January 2022 with our flagship product—a nutritionally balanced and functional plant-based protein Ceviche. This unique offering contains over 740 milligrams of Vitamin C, quercetin, and essential minerals. It is low in calories yet rich in vitamins, antioxidants, and proteins. Additionally, it is trans-fat-free, reduced in sugar and sodium, gluten-free, and ready-to-eat.
Right from the start, we have been committed to environmental sustainability and animal welfare. We prioritize reusing, recycling, and utilizing eco-friendly packaging materials. Our cans are designed without internal plastic lining, and our labels remain free from plastic coating. Moreover, our products do not include any animal protein.
